Fix Your Noisy Press-fit Bottom Bracket
Does your Bottom Bracket squeak and creak with every pedal stroke under load. If you have a pressfit bottom Bracket it is probably just a matter of time before your BB fails. Pressfit bottom brackets depend on the precision of your bike frame’s bottom bracket shell. Pressfit carbon fibre frames are notoriously imprecise. BB bearings are under a lot of stress with your full weight and high torque applied while pedalling. The pressfit face in your frame needs to hold onto the high stress bearing relying on the variables of a friction fit.

Ridley Helium SLX Dream Bike or Nightmare? Bike Review

In my mind I can imagine a dream bike. It has all the best features of my current bike plus all the cool new technology that has appeared in the time since I got my old bike. When I saw that I could order a bike the way I wanted, from the colour to the main components I jumped at the opportunity. At a certain level most high end bikes are good. So what sets them apart? A bike is more than the s...

The first time I cycled this climb was during the Giro delle Dolomiti. It was pouring rain. The conditions were terrible but the riding was fantastic. It is even better on a sunny day. Ride the bike path from Bolzano at 300m elevation through the narrow steep valley north in and out of abandoned railway tunnels. Turn onto the narrow steep farm access road. This narrow quiet road is very steep. ...

So. When I try to adjust the low clearance on the front, the screw turns freely as it should be moving the cage inward for clearance. But, the cage stays in the same spot.

I've been changing rim tape and adding more sealant and throwing tools for days now and this fixed the issue in a matter of seconds. Hats off to you, sir! One other thing I did to help (maybe not even necessary) was to hold the rim with the valve at the bottom to let all the sealant settle there, then quickly flip it 180 degrees so the sealant can accumulate around the valve bed, then jiggle quickly.

Hey, thanks for the video, I can't adjust the electronic stop as you did, I get to the limit of the clicks before arriving at 0-0.5mm so I have already dropped the chain The low stop is well adjusted and the top one too, However, either I move away the upper stop of the chain and there I can approach the electronic stopper of the chain but impossible to have the right values by adjusting the two (high and electronic). I noticed a support screw is not even in contact with the frame, I'm lost, I don't want to send it to a mechanic because I tried to follow the Shimano manual...

However, the gears normally pass forward and back but I sometimes cross the chains. it derailed like that in the collar, if I manage to adjust the adjustment of the electronic stopper Should the chain stay in place?

How do you know how much to tighten each spring on each side though? Like, how do you know to turn the left side X amount of times then start adjusting from the other side, as opposed to just tightening or loosening one side to even it out?..... If that question makes sense! I was adjusting mine today and I still feel like it's not completely right. Additionally, how to know when to replace the actual calipers?

I love your videos, thank you. That being said, the integrity of the ski is compromised by being broken. Does it perform well? I am assuming that while the ski is functional, it might not actually glide as it should. Probably better off with a new pair of skis. Thoughts?

The skis are probably 30 years old, so will be replacing them when sales come at end of season. But hoping I can get through this season.
